Q3a: What is the difference between the Managing Agent and the Residents’ Association? Who is One Housing?
A: The Managing Agent (Y&Y Management) is responsible for all maintenance and building services in the development (the common areas outside of your apartment) and for enforcing all Estate Rules and Covenants which form the part of all tenants’ leases. For any issues outside of your apartment you should contact Y&Y.
The Residents’ Association (Dance Square Residents Association – DSRA), is a voluntary group created by residents to represent those who live here to the Managing Agent, and to engage with the local council over planning or other local issues.
One Housing (now part of the Riverside Group) is the intermediate landlord between individual leaseholders and the Freeholder for some of the flats in Dance Square (social housing and shared ownership flats – including those that are fully staircased / subsequently re-sold). See here for contact details.
