Q7a: Who is responsible for service and repairs around the site and in my home?
A: All of the communal services: gardens, concierge/night security, hallways, lifts, gates, etc are maintained by the Managing Agent. All residents, whether renter or owner, have the same right to request service or report an issue. This should be done via the Managing Agent and we encourage all resident to do so; please don’t assume that someone else will. One Housing (now part of the Riverside Group) leaseholders – including fully staircased ones – can report issues via One Housing, but the Managing Agent will also accept direct reports.
Any repairs inside your home are either your responsibility as an owner, or your landlord’s responsibility if you rent.
Note: while the heating and hot water system is centralised, the maintenance of the heat interchange unit (HIU) inside your home is your or your landlord’s responsibility if you rent.
