June 2025 Newsletter

AGM (12 May)

Annual Report presented; Y&Y management attended and answered questions. Minutes to be circulated soon via the mailing list.

Fire Safety Meeting (5 June)

Remediation works to common parts’ fire doors starting late June (by AAM Maintenance). Individual apartment front door works have been arranged. Also update on cladding.

Service Charges

Update on Y&Y accounts timing and reserve funds audit.

Heating and Hot Water Billing

Ongoing issues with meters offline; proposal to replace with wireless meters.

Site updates

We updated on progress on various points around dance square including the garden, gates, paving cleaning, carpet cleaning, and moving in and out protocols.

Wider Neighbourhood News

Finsbury Leisure Centre redevelopment plans withdrawn; Council to modernise existing centre and sports pitches. Seward Street Playground gates will remain locked after consultation, addressing antisocial behaviour concerns. Indian Visa Centre main entrance moving from Pear Tree Street to Goswell Road soon, easing pavement congestion.
